RFS jobs: Intern

The RFS is inviting applications for the post of Intern, a volunteer role for undergraduates and recent graduates of forestry, woodland management or related degree courses who have a keen interest in, and good basic knowledge of, woodland management.

The successful candidate will research, design, write and publish case studies on award-winning woodlands across England over a two month period this summer. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience with one of the UK’s leading charities in the forestry sector, to apply your skills and experience for the benefit of the RFS, its members and the wider public and not least, your own personal learning and development. You will also have the unique opportunity to interact with woodland owners and managers of some of the best managed woods in England.

Closing date for applications is 2 May 2014.
