Although we are not major woodland owners, the Royal Forestry Society does run three model working woodlands.
- The largest is Hockeridge and Pancake Woods up on the Chilterns between Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire and Chesham in Buckinghamshire.
- In the National Forest at Battram in North West Leicestershire, we created a 50 hectare mixed broadleaf and conifer woodland on arable land between 1998 and 2000.
- Near Welshpool in mid-Wales is our Charles Ackers Redwood Grove and Naylor Pinetum.
