Other RFS competitions

The RFS is involved in running a number of competitions and awards for top notch woodlands and the people who manage them.

The main national competition is the RFS Excellence in Forestry awards.

Other prizes and awards, which are reported regularly on the News pages of this website include:

• prize-winning articles in the Quarterly Journal of Forestry
• prizes are offered at the Royal Welsh Show
• local Divisions also offer awards and prizes (for example, for outstanding students at local colleges).
