Chalara fraxinea (Ash dieback) update

The RFS is keeping a close watch on Chalara fraxinea (Ash dieback) developments to provide information and advice for woodland owners and managers. Advisory posters (A3 sized) on ash dieback are now available from the Forestry Commission giving advice for visitors to both infected and non-infected woodlands.

Suspected cases of ash dieback must be reported. Visitwww.forestry.gov.uk/chalara or report any cases by calling:

  • England and Wales: 08459 33 55 77 (open 8am–6pm every day)
  • Scotland: 0131 314 6156 (9am–5pm weekdays + out of hours messaging system)
