Our Woods

Woodland ownership is not a pillar of RFS work but we do own and run three properties as models of good practice.

• Hockeridge and Pancake Woods is a mixed Centre of Excellence woodland up in the Chilterns, astride the Buckinghamshire / Hertfordshire boundary.
• Battram is a new working wood we are creating in North West Leicestershire and is one of the largest in the National Forest.
• Leighton is near Welshpool in mid-Wales and features a redwood grove and pinetum. It is not open to the public but we are happy to show groups round.
